They are all on the same team

Information given to the complaints team will go straight back to the investigating officer – HMRC say complaints are confidential but they don’t say from whom they are confidential!

Copies of these HMRC notes were sent gained through the Data Protection Act.

Note taken by Fiona Cook 11 January 2007

“Mr N Morgan telephoned regarding the letter he had received from Derek Till… he is self employed with a 3 year old and his wife is due to have a baby in May. He would like to get this sorted…

He said he is prepared to go all the way – even to his MP. I explained… a MP was not normally involved unless it was a policy issue.”

[this is untrue you can contact your MP for help at any stage of the investigation]

“Note of telephone call… 17 January [2007]

Mr Morgan began by asking general questions about our complaints process, such as when the review would take place, who would do it etc…

Duration of call – 5 minutes. He sounded agitated & frustrated, but well mannered & polite throughout.
